Hello! My name is Brian Roessler. Welcome to my website. I am someone who wears many hats, and this is my attempt to create a one-stop site to put them all under one umbrella. Here is a bit more about me:
Musically speaking, I am a singer-songwriter who has recorded three self-produced albums. I am a board member of the Create! Conway arts organization, where I head up all things musical. I am a board member and an organizer of the Muse on the Waccamaw Poetry and Songwriting Contest. I also organize a weekly open mic and a monthly songwriters showcase at Fresh Brewed Coffee House in downtown Myrtle Beach. By Day, I am a Lecturer in the Department of Communication, Languages and Culture at Coastal Carolina University. I also wear many hats there teaching courses that range from COMM 101 to Senior Capstone Project with many courses that focus on organizational communication and media thrown in for good measure. I am also on the University Senate, IABC Faculty Advisor, Pi Kappa Phi (Eta Pi Chapter) Academic Advisor, and on a host of other committee and student organizations.
12 years producing educational video has to create my own video production side project - Autofocus Media. Autofocus media will primarilly concentrate on documentaries and music videos, but I am more than open to discussing any video project or idea.
